I like to start the morning with this calming perspective: the only thing I have to do today is turn ________ over to God. My job is to let God handle ______.
Next, I determine: what’s my focus? Today, I agree with the psalmist who decided, “My eyes are continually toward the Lord, for he will pluck my feet out of the net.” (Psalm 25:15).
I don’t know what today’s “net“ might be, but often, it’s trying to control things that aren’t in my power to control. May God remove unhealthy patterns, opening new patterns of freedom and joy!
